SCs are to report to the foyer once you reach school to collect the gifts for the teacher(s) you are assigned to. All gifts are to be collected by 7.40am.
SCs are to join their classes for flag raising and present their gifts when the announcers give the signal (SCs distributing to chairpersons may stand around the level they are assigned to).
If the teacher is not around during flag raising, look for the teacher during concert to present the gifts. For gifts not given out by end of celebration, return to comm. members during debrief.
During the concert, an announcement will be made for all SCs to assemble at the back of the hall to present the second gift to the teachers. SCs are to present the gift to the teacher(s) they have been assigned to during flag raising.
Please inform fellow SCs who have missed the meeting today or are unaware of any arrangements.

thanks miss yeo for the sweet note :D yup, council really did help us grow in many ways and we have really all matured and learnt a great deal since we stepped in! just wanna say a huge THANK YOU to all year 4s :) i hope we can all stay close, with or without council and that the friendships forged goes beyond SC =) & to all the other SCs, do let the flame burn on strong and don't forget that us year 4s love you guys! family is forever :)

Just helped Miss Yeo put up her messge. Just want to say that we want to thank you too, Miss yeo!! For all your love and care for us! I am not good with words, but these 3 years or so in SC is really a good experience for me. It helps me to become a more organized person and one who knows how to stay on when things get tough till the end.

To the Year 4 SCs of 2008,
I want to say a big Thank You to each and every one of you. Thank you for the time, effort and dedication you have shown towards the Student Council and to Dunman High. From you, I too have learnt what it means to care, to serve and to lead.
As you all step down from the Junior High Student Council, let this not be a closing chapter in your lives. This is one never-ending story. As I once said, you never quit being a family. No matter which path you wish to take in the future, remember that there is always a place for you in the Junior High Student Council. You are etched in our memories, a part of our past, our present and our future, and it is because of you that the Student Council is what it is today.
In these 2 or 3 years as a councilor, I hope you take away with you many learning experiences and that they have helped in molding you to be the person who you are today. As a student councilor, you know that you are regarded by many as a role model, in terms of behavior and attitude. You have in you the DHS spirit, let that flame never burn out. It is not the badge or the name which guides your actions but by your own values and morals.
Hence as you pass the baton on, do remember that regardless of the status, the tie or the badge, I hope that you have taken away with you the values which the Student Council stands for. Your thoughts become your actions. Your actions reflect your character. Let your character speak for itself.

there'll be a basketball match againt Jurong Sec next Monday at Singapore Basketball Centre at Aljunied.. which is within walking distance from aljunied mrt station.. the bus leaves school at 3.30pm for the match.. so do come and support..
the match is VERy crucial as it determines whether the basketball team will get into the top 4 of the Nationals.. if you wanna watch the match.. please tell Terence Tan..

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
I know it was very tiring for each of you guys because many of you guys had to double up with a second duty at night after a tiring jogathon and the success of the event relied heavily on the leadership of each individual in their duty station. Hence, the entire committee wanna say a BIG THANK YOU!
ALL SCs. including those not down for duty for MM previously, have to report to the foyer on tues at 730am for the debrief on Movie Marathon '08.
