For the SCs doing marshalling and prize presenter helper duties, your rehearsal is this coming friday, 25th April 2008 at 2.30pm. The rehearsals are compulsory and you will be excused from your CCA. Pls sms Jia Hui to confirm your attendance for the rehearsal and let her know if you cannot make it for any reason. SCs with an * beside their name have to report to school at 8.45am (NOT 9am!) on Speech Day itself.

SC OUTING ON THIS SATURDAY 19TH APRIL

hi all!! after a long long wait... yea, we having an SC outing, for the 80 of you (since i posting cnt include myself..) ok, 81 of US.. haha....

it will be a day of fun and games, and more bonding within your depts, and also, within the council!

it will be from 9.30am to 2pm... meet at East Coast Park macdonald's...

there will be games planned by IA, and yea, we intend to have picnic there as well..!!

so we need you guys to prepare food for the picnic! it will be eating within your dept... of cuz, we all welcome food sharing yea.?

now the most important factor is YOU!

those who cannot make it pls inform your HODs, or we would take it tht u are turning up~ then help pass the msg around, we do not wanna make use of the sms system as HOD smses are running low... haha...

IA TAKES SURVEY..!!!

hey all...

IA is thinking of how to further bond the council...

one way, is to have more SC outings... and yea, weijie thinks tht it is quite impossible to bond when the whole council go watch movie tgt tht kind... but yea, an outing with the council is definitely impt and IA is working on it... so no worries...

another way to let us relle know one another much better and across departments is to have small group outings, based on interests...

how does it work?

nth is finalised, but the idea is sth liddat... we will post up different events, like Kbox outing, cycling in ECP, ice skating in kallang leisure park, movie outing, and etc... then we get YOU guys to 'sign up' with IA, then based on the number of people per event, we decide when to go ahead...

this way, it is definitely not dept-bound, and people enjoying the same event get to interact with one another... so... what you guys think of this..?

definitely it needs more planning to make this work... concerns would be, is the whole IA going for every outing? or.. what if cases like 'i later feel left out'... so rather not go..?

so what you guys think of this idea??

there will no longer be an afternoon and morning shift but just a single shift from 8.30am to 1pm (the latest i think)

Hey SCs! Speech Day this year will fall on 28th April (Monday). There will be no lessons on that day. I will need about 25 SCs to be on duty for each session, the morning and the afternoon. Which means about 50 SCs will be down for duty (:
